ACOUSTIC/FOLK

• Liz Mcdaniel- Born and raised in Michigan. Now resides in Nashville, Tennessee. Voice is soft and calming. Completely beautiful.

• Daedalist- Living in New York City. Very unique voice. Beautiful sound and guitar.

• Grandpa Was a Lion- From Brooklyn, New York. Sounds very similar to Iron and Wine. Soft vocals and beautiful guitar notes. Simply amazing music. So great to relax to.

• Jon Bryant- A guy from Halifax, Canada who has the ability to make you speechless with his unforgettable tunes and his beautiful voice. His music will relax you and put a jolt of happiness inside of you.

ALTERNATIVE

• Juanita y Los Feos- Super fun group from Madrid, Spain. Their songs remind you of a warm summer day, chilling on the beach with friends.

• Le Butcherettes- A fun alternative group of two girls and a guy from Los Angeles, California. Their music verges into the punk genre. Energetic and musically talented. Their sound is similar to the Yeah Yeah Yeah’s.

DUBSTEP

• Ephixa- A sweet dubstep group. From Toronto, Canada. Amazing music, sweet bass drops and crazy beats.

• Thriftworks- From Berkeley, California. A super sweet, underground dubstep group. Has a very psychedelic sound and some heavy bass drops thrown into the mix.

• Cheapshot- From Japan. Sounds like you’re playing your old Gameboy, Nintendo 63 or Atari but with awesome base drops thrown in.

• Sabrepulse- Originating from London, England. A fun and upbeat group. Some cool base drops thrown in. Very similar to Skrillex or Downlink.

• Phutureprimative- Super sweet dubstep group from Portland, Oregon. You have never heard dubstep like this. It takes you into a completely different world.

FOLK

• The Devil & His Brandy- A group of guys from Lansing, Mi, making music for the fun and enjoyment of it. One of the members, Zach Seelye, is actually my uncle. Him and his friends are extremely talented. They capture the essence of modern folk.

• Stray Dogg- An absolutely amazing group of guys and girls from Richmond, Virginia, making music that is calming, full of talent and just beautiful. Their sound is melancholic, full of piano and guitar rythmes and poetic lyrics. Their CD, Almost, is a 9-track cd for free! Download it!

• Alive in Standby-  Very talented group of guys from Detroit, Michigan. A good mixture of singing and screaming. Perfect if you are a fan of A Day to Remember, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, We Came as Romans and Signs of Betrayal.

• 8earclub-  Just started making music less than a year ago in Dallas, Texas. Lots of cool FREE tracks to download from his first mixtape. Has an old hip-hop sound. His influence range from MF Doom and Q-Tip to Glassjaw and Lou Reed.

• Traphik- A super talented guy from Paramount, California. His beats are fresh, his music is super unique and his voice is awesome.

• Stepdad- From Michigan. A mixture between Bon Iver and Lights Poxleitner. Very melodic. A group of very talented guys.

• We Are Trees- A duo from Virginia Beach. A very lo-fi and melodic sound. Loud drums and soft vocals. Similar to M83.

METAL

• Sarah Longfield- Simply one girl, her 8-string guitar and her computer. Based in the state of Wisconsin. Cool and fun melodies that you find yourself wishing you could play along with.

• Concubine- A very intense metal band. Quick drum beats, low guitar riffs and high vocals with a couple break downs. Similar to Miss May I. 

• I Made a Monster- A great band, nearly a year old, from Lansing, Michigan. Their music has death metal sound and rocks like Texas in July, Suicide Silence and Chelsea Grin. 

POP-PUNK

• Charlatan- A band based in Lansing, MI. Fun, energetic and the perfect party music.

• Get the Shot- A crazy and energetic band from Quebec, Canada. A perfect mix of guitar riffs, drum beats and screaming.

• Single Mothers- Very upbeat, garage band sound located in London, England. Very fun and perfect for 90s punk styled fans out there.

• Astpai- A super fun and upbeat band from Germany. Their music will make you want to move and mosh right where you are sitting.
